Article 4: Meetings
1: Meetings of the membership of NEC will be held once a month at such places and times to be determined by the board of directors.

2: A minimum of 5 members, two of whom must be on the board of directors, must be present to constitute a quorum for a membership meeting.

Article 5: Board of Directors
1: The Board of directors consists of, at this time, the club president, vice president and events director. More directors will be assigned as the club grows. This will be amended into the bylaws at that time.
Article 6: Trail Requirements

1: Your vehicle must have 2 tow points, one in the front and one in the rear. No matter how set up your jeep is, you can still get stuck.

2: CBs are not required but we strongly recommend them. This is an easy way to communicate with the group out on the trail.

3: Seat belts are required. NO EXCEPTIONS. You must wear your seat belt at all times when you are in your vehicle on the trail.

4: No tow straps with metal hook ends. We highly recommend straps with double loop fabric ends.

5: No drinking of alcohol or use of any drug or substance on the trails on NEC organized trail rides. NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE.

6: Vehicle must be insured and registered.

7: Please make sure you and your vehicle are prepared for a full day of trail riding. There are times when someone breaks down and we could be out on the trail for hours. Pack plenty of food and water, extra clothing, etc..etc...

8: All participants in any NEC trail ride must sign a release wavier. One is required and is good for a year.
Article 7: Honorable Mention

1: Amendments to the Bylaws shall be approved by a 2/3 majority vote of the club membership present at a regularly called meeting.
