Who we are: |
| We're a group of people who like to work on our rides, go 4-wheeling and just have a good time. We started this club back in August of 2003 when we noticed our group of fellow Jeepers getting bigger. Our club has grown so much over the years with so many more things in store for the future. |
| What kind of vehicle do I have to drive to join? |
| When we set up this club, we decided we wanted it to be a little different than all of the other off road clubs out there. We'd like for this club to be for strictly Jeep vehicles, but we know there are other off road capable rigs out there. So with that being said, we are looking for vehicles that can tackle any terrain the trails throw at you. Your vehicle should be equipped with a significant amount of lift (be it suspension or body lift) and the tires that fit that lift properly. Generally 3" suspension lift and at minimum 33" tires. There are exceptions to the rule to be determined by club members vote. If you're not sure if your rig fits into this bracket, apply anyways and let us vote. |
| Why should I join NEC: |
| The benefits of joining NEC are growing as the club grows. When you are accepted into NEC, you will receive a membership card, members only t-shirt and a members only decal. We have monthly Members Only trail rides, as well as Meet and Greets. You will also have access to the Members Only section on the message board, bi-monthly newsletter, as well as your rig featured on the Members Rides section of the site. As the club grows, we will be purchasing club insurance, copy righting our name and filing for non-profit organization. Also, NEC members are entitled to discounts to the industries leaders like, 4Wheel Drive Hardware, All Things Jeep.com and National Tire and Wheel. |
| How do I join NEC? |
| Membership dues are $30 for new memberships and $20 a year to renew memberships. Memberships will expire on December 31st. You will have until January 31st to renew. If you miss this deadline, you will be considered a new member and have to pay full membership dues to be reinstated. After reading this information page, as well as our bylaws, and you want to join our club, click here for the membership application. All current members will then vote to either accept or decline your application. You will receive an email with the status of your application within a week of applying. |
